My passion to Oracle started when i joined Oracle Corporation 3 years back.It was really great period of my life.It was pretty challenging for a person to learn Oracle without having knowledge of any RDBMS system but i started slowly and finally i got declared as Oracle DBA after 3 year of tenure with Oracle Corporation.

I consider my self as a learner and always thirsty to know more. Knowledge is one thing that excites me and I feel that it increases by sharing. So here is my blogs, dedicated to my friends across the globe, with whom I would like to share my experiences, and expects the same from them (Please give your comments !!!!). I promise that this blog is not just some cut and paste job and will always be based on my practical experiences.

  3. Hi,

    Puneet,

I am sorry to that if you are not meeting the requirement then you will not get visa.

You need to show your monthly take home and if it is refelecting in your payslip then British high commision would accept it.

I could have guided you more if you could have contacted me beforehand but nevertheless dont worry.

Ultimate desicion is with British High commision ,so hope for the best.

    Regards,
    Dev

  4. Hi Dev,

You have got a nice blog with complete information package. I have a query off that visa track.
I have recently got my Tier1 General Visa (India). I am a software engineer by profession and will be shifting to UK soon.
I was watching few BBC interviews on Youtube and also read in leading newspapers that Britishers are not very much happy with immigrants. They hate people coming from outside.
What are your views on that?
How cooperative are they? What neccessary things an outsider know in order to stay away from trouble and survive with Britishers?

    Thanks and regards.

  5. Hi Matheyo,

I think this is pretty silly question. Please dont take it personally.

All british ppl are not like that.Atleast i have not happened to be victim of such case till now.

I found they are far better than Americans.

Again it depends on luck ,so you have to give a go to see what happens to you.

If you are seriouslly thinking on this silly matter then please dont come to UK.Sorry for being bit rude on this.

    Regards,
    Dev

  7. Hi Dev,

Its really great to c ur comments. I appreciate ur useful blogs.

I am going to apply in Jan 2009 for Tier 1. The visa fees is 600GBP.. I agree..My consultant is charging around 50,000 Rs.

I know its really high..but do i have any other option…

    I have another problem…

there r two savings account..my dad deposited 1.67L in one account and another 49,000 in another account….

I transfered 1.67L to my savings account and hence the total became 1.67l+49+amount already there..it came around 2.7L….

Now the problem is I need to show the proof of the same when i file my Tier1 visa….can u suggest some solution….
    or a consultant who charge u a less amount…

It would be a great help if u culd help me by some means…

    Regards,
    Ashok

  8. Hi,
I have applied for tier one general on dec 3rd 2008 & vfs told not to deposit integra as they have stoped doing integra as of now.
and they also told that it takes 4 working days to get result .

Is there any benefit of not having integra?
Do they inform employers that i have applied for tier one hsmp ?
Do they do verification randomly or for all?

    Regards
    Neeraj

  9. Hi Neeraj,

Integra is beneficial to Home office not to you at all.

As they have removed integra then i do not have any info that whether do they contact employer or not.

Generally they did not contact employer if you are in same job from last 1 year.

Even if they contact ur employer , you wont be in any problem.

    Dev

  12. Hi Dev,

Thanks its seems to be a nice forum that you are helping so many persons.

I recently got my Tire 1 General Visa stamped and delivered to me on the 24th Nov. I want to know what is the right time period with in which I need to enter UK. As per a few consultants (Y-axis) they suggest that I need to visit UK with in the first 3 months other wise it might create problems during the extention or while applying for the permanent Residence at a letter point in time.

As per the immigration rules they say to qualify one needs to spend a continues period of stay for 5 years. Further I have been told that its not advisable to stay out of the UK for a max period of 3 months in each year.

What is your understanding or opinion on the same? Pls confirm as I am really getting worried over this.

    Ravi

  13. Hi Ravi,

There is no rule that you need to enter into the UK in first 3 months else you will have problem in extension.

Extension is confirmed if you are are earning £ 28000 per annum plus you are meeting the criteria. and you are have good credit on your name.

You will get indefinite stay to UK after 5 years of stay in UK. After 8 years you can also claim the citizenship.

I would request you to come to UK in Start of March because winter finishes by Feb end so you will have around 6 months to get settled down in UK before the fucking winter starts.

    I hope this helps.

    Dev
